Barely one week after his second-term inauguration, Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has sworn in fourteen newly appointed top government officials.
Among them is 39-year-old Chiamaka Nnake, who now serves as Secretary to the State Government.
She makes history as the first woman to be appointed to the position in Anambra State.
Governor Soludo, shortly after administering the oath of office, charged the appointees to see their roles as a call to sacrifice, demanding round-the-clock public service and commitment.

He stressed that following what he described as a careful and deliberate selection process, members of his Solution 2.0 team must work collectively with a shared vision and clear goals.
Some of the newly sworn-in officials, including the SSG, Attorney General, and Chief Press Secretary, described their appointments as a privilege, assuring Ndi Anambra of improved service delivery.

Official reports indicate that of the fourteen appointees in the first batch, eight served in the governor’s first administration, while six are new entrants.
