Christians around the world are commemorating the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, an event that marks the beginning of the Holy Week.
In Zamfara State, the Catholic faithful joined millions of believers globally to observe Palm Sunday.
They reflected on the humility of Jesus Christ and the lessons of sacrifice demonstrated through His crucifixion.
Clergy and worshippers also used the occasion to call on Nigerian leaders to embrace humility and remember their humble beginnings while serving the people.
The faithful were seen in solemn procession, waving palm branches as they took a week-long spiritual journey leading to the remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice.
