Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has met with the Director-General of the Department of State Services, DSS, Tosin Adeola in Abuja, reinforcing a long-standing partnership central to Nigeria’s security architecture.
The engagement is said to reflects a shared understanding between both leaders on the need for stronger intelligence-driven operations, coordination and professionalism in addressing terrorism, cybercrime, election security and other emerging threats.
While the Police bring visible enforcement to the front lines, the DSS continues to provide the strategic intelligence backbone that guides many successful operations, a balance both leaders acknowledged as essential.
The meeting signals a steady, coordinated approach by both institutions, anchored on experience, mutual respect and a clear focus on safeguarding national stability.
