Nigerians have been urged to actively monitor government policy implementation and demand accountability through available digital platforms.
The Special Adviser to the President on Policy Coordination, Hadiza Bala Usman, made the call, encouraging citizens to utilise the Central Results Delivery Coordination Unit (CRDCU) to access policy deliverables and contribute feedback to improve governance.
She spoke through the Head of Administration at the CRDCU, Yetunde Akinloye, at a Citizens Dialogue Forum which brought together citizens, government officials, and civil society organisations.
The forum reviewed findings from an independent evaluation of the Citizens’ Delivery Tracker (CDT), alongside data presentations, a documentary screening, and interactive dialogue sessions aimed at boosting government responsiveness and rebuilding public trust.
Participants agreed that sustained citizen engagement is critical to shaping governance and ensuring leaders remain accountable to the people.
