Eight teams have made it to the quarter finals of the President Federation Cup, Edo State, following the conclusion of the second round of matches with four fixtures decided on Thursday at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital football field.
Across the four matches, a total of ten goals were scored. Benin Warriors and Dolly FC’s encounter was stalemated at regulation time, however the Warriors prevailed by five goals to four during penalty shoot out.
Westgate FC outscored Namo Football Academy by three goals to two to advance.
In another tie, Ineh FC were dominant in their game against Assemblies of God FC, it ended three nil in favour of Ineh Stars.
Alhaji FC continued their good run, edging past Living Voice by two nil, to move into the last eight
The four matches at the quarter final stage will be played on April 9 at the same venue.
