Good Friday: Christians In Lagos Mark Day Calling For Love, Prayers & Forgiveness

The Good Friday Celebration in Lagos State was one of sober reflection with many Christians calling for prayers and love for a better Nigeria in the face of daughting challenges.

In some places visited by ait crew, people went out on the streets, not minding the scorching Sun to re-enact the suffering of the Lord Jesus Christ as recorded in the Holy Bible before His Crucifixion.

The 2026 celebration was not different as many went all out in the Scorching Sun to be part of the celebration.

The central message was hinged on Love Forgiveness and Prayers for God ‘s intervention in Nigeria

Good Friday marks the Biblical account of Jesus Christ arrest, trial Crucifixion, death and burial, paving the way for his ressurection on the 3rd day.
