Rainstorm has destroyed the roof of the Kugbo International Bus Terminal along the Nyanya corridor of Abuja-Keffi Expressway with several people injured and scores of vehicles damaged.
The rain which began at about 3:30 pm on Tuesday came with very strong winds, which blew off the roof of the Kugbo International Bus terminal dropping the wreckage on the expressway. This made it impossible for road users to access Abuja city centre from neighbouring Nasarawa State.
As at the time of this report, some commuters and motorists were seen making efforts to clear the road.
Some of the stranded motorists and commuters appealed to the authorities to quickly intervene and clear the debris blocking both lanes of the Abuja-Keffi Expressway to enable the traffic to move smoothly.
