Out of about 500 terrorism cases brought to the Federal High Court in Abuja, 386 cases were handled by several Judges of the court, as eight defendants were discharged and two acquitted.

Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi SAN, made this confirmation as the marathon terrorism trial which began on April 7 came to a close on Friday.

About 112 cases have been moved to be heard from the 15th to 18th of June 2026, when the 10th phase of the marathon trial will commence.
