Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, also known as SHI’ITES group, have condemned the killings of their members and called on leaders at all levels to address injustice, regardless of religious inclination.
The group made the call during a solidarity rally for oppressed people in Iran and Nigeria, held in Bauchi, North-East Nigeria.
The leader of the group Abdullahi Musa, alongside Zeenat Zakzaky said they are ready to sacrifice their lives in the fight against injustice, describing it as a growing global concern.
The group’s leaders also sent a message to the Nigerian government over the alleged killings of its members by state actors.
The message from the protesters is fair treatment and justice for all citizens.
