The Peoples Democratic Party has fixed the cost of its presidential nomination form at 51 million naira and governorship form at 21 million naira.

The party also announced that its presidential primary will hold from May 17 to 18, while the governorship primary is scheduled for May 27.

In a timetable released by the National Organising Secretary, Umar Bature, the party said House of Representatives primaries will hold on May 21, Senate on May 23, and State Houses of Assembly on May 25.

The PDP pegged the cost of expression of interest and nomination forms at 51 million naira for president, 21 million naira for governorship, and 6 million naira for Senate.

Forms for the House of Representatives are priced at 4 million naira, while State Houses of Assembly forms cost 3 million naira.

Female aspirants are to pay only for the expression of interest form, pegged at 1 million naira across all positions.

According to the timetable, the sale of forms will begin on April 27 and close on May 4.

Screening for State and National Assembly aspirants is scheduled for May 11, while governorship and presidential aspirants will be screened on May 12.

The party is expected to submit its register to the Independent National Electoral Commission on April 21, 2026, and notify the commission of its primaries on April 22.
