A graduate of the University of Jos, John Arum Azi, whose torture video in captivity sparked widespread outrage, has regained his freedom after about 10 days in the hands of his abductors.
His brother, Bulus Azi, confirmed he was released in Zaria and is expected to arrive in Jos later tonight.
The family says no further details are available for now as they await his safe return.
