The Supreme Court is set to deliver judgement in three appeals, including one filed by former President of the Senate, David Mark, on the leadership crises in the African Democratic Congress, the ADC and the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP
The scheduled judgements come amid mounting political tension over control of party structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
David Mark is challenging the March 12 decision of the Court of Appeal, which directed parties to maintain the status quo in the leadership tussle.
Present in court is the factional PDP Chairman, Tanimu Turaki and Samuel Anyawu of faction loyal to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike among others.
