Tension flared at the Ekiti State Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress in Ado-Ekiti, following allegations that nomination forms for aspirants into the State House of Assembly were being withheld.
Some aggrieved aspirants accused party officials of deliberately hoarding forms already paid for, in a bid to favour preferred candidates across constituencies.
The situation led to hours of confrontation between the aspirants and party officials at the secretariat.

However, the crisis was later resolved, with assurances that nomination forms will be made available to all aspirants.
