The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has commenced the sale of expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.
The party’s National Chairman, Abdulrahman Mohammed, presented the forms to an aspirant at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja and cautioned those he accused of fueling internal crises to steer clear of the party’s affairs.
He maintained that there is no leadership vacuum in the PDP following the recent Supreme Court judgment, insisting that the leadership he heads remains the one recognised by INEC.

Meanwhile, the PDP Board of Trustees faction led by Adolphus Wabara has signalled an interim takeover of the party, describing the move as a constitutional step to promote reconciliation, stabilise the PDP, and restore its political strength.
The BoT faction has also scheduled meetings of the Board of Trustees and the National Executive Committee for Sunday and Monday.
