Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, has recommended the suspension of its Board of Trustees, BoT Chairman, Bashir Dalhatu, over allegations of misconduct and financial irregularities.
The decision was announced during the forum’s NEC meeting in Kaduna, North-West Nigeria.
Chairman of the Ethics and Conduct Committee, Professor Nuhu Jamu, said the committee investigated a petition alleging constitutional breaches and questionable financial activities involving the BoT chairman.
The committee also recommended a forensic audit of the forum’s finances to ensure transparency and accountability.

ACF National Publicity Secretary, Professor Tukur Baba, said delegates from 18 northern states and the FCT attended the meeting, where a vote of no confidence was passed on the BOT chairman.
The forum says further decisions on the matter will be taken in the coming days.
