Social media influencer and relationship therapist, Blessing Okoro, also known as Blessing CEO, Friday appeared before Justice Deinde Dipeolu of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi over a two court charge bothering on alleged N36m Fraud.
Blessing Okoro who was Arraigned by the anti graft agency the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) pleaded not guilty to the allegations brought before her and was subsequently remanded in EFCC custody pending the determination of her bail application.
The defence counsel, PN Nwafor,while asking for a short adjournment from the court explained that the defendant had refunded N24m out of the N36m to the compenergy.
The prosecution counsel, Suleiman Suleiman in response said they were not privy to any discussion between the defendant and the complaint who in this case is the federal government of Nigeria.

Justice Dipeolu in his ruling held that the defence and the complaint can have discussions even during the pendency of the charge as it does not affect the proceedings before the court.
The counsel to the defendant later requested that the defendant be remanded in the EFCC Custody pending the perfection of her bail charge which Justice Deinde Dipeolu agreed to and adjourned the case to June 5 2026 for the commencement of the trial.
