The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday announced results of the Primary Elections for the eight House of Representatives seats in Adamawa.
Chairman of the committee Prof Ahmed Yushau announced the results in Yola where he described the exercise as free, fair and credible across the 21 Local Government Areas (LGA) of the state.
He explained that the committee operated strictly in accordance with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Electoral Act and Guidelines of the Party .
Winners of the exercise across the Eight National Assembly constituencies in the state as announced by Yushau include, the Zakaria Nyampah of the Michika/Madagali federal Constituency, James Barka, Gombi/Hong Federal Constituency while Kwamoti Laori clinched the ticket for Demsa/ Numan/Lamurde federal Constituency.
Others include Madam Golfa Mallim for Guyuk/Shelleng Constituency, Suleman Gangkuba for Jada/Ganye/Mayo Belwa/Toungo federal Constituency and Aliyu Wakil Boya secured the ticket for Fufore/Song Federal Constituency.
Others are Ahmad Salihijo for Yola-North/Yola-South and Girei federal Constituency Hajiya Ramatu Bello is to represent the party for Mubi-North/ Mubi-South and Maiha Federal Constituency.
Prof. Yushau earlier called on all aspirants to work together for the progress of the party, particularly as the 2027 general elections approach
