Niger State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, says it has succeeded in arresting a man, Ibrahim Aminu for burgling a Point of Sales shop in the Bida local government area of the state.
Commandant of the Corps, Suberu Aniviye, while confirming the development, stated that the suspect was arrested with several mobile phones of different brands, phone accessories, and a substantial amount of money intended for POS transactions, totalling over 2.6 million naira.

Parading the suspect at the command headquarters, Commandant Aniviye stated that the incident was reported at approximately 2:00 a.m. by the shop owner, Umaru Mohammed, who alleged that unknown persons broke into his shop at Low Cost Junction, in Bida and made away with cash and other valuables.
According to him, the stolen devices and accessories include mobile phones of different brands, phone accessories, and a substantial amount of money kept for POS transactions, with total losses initially estimated at over 2.6 million naira.
According to the command, efforts are ongoing to apprehend the fleeing suspects and recover the remaining stolen items, adding that the case will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations.
