The member representing Zango Kataf and Jaba Federal Constituency, Amos Gwamna Magaji, has secured the APC ticket for a third term as a consensus candidate.
The result was announced at the party primary held in Zonkwa, headquarters of Zango Kataf Local Government Area.
The primary election in Zango Kataf and Jaba Federal Constituency was conducted peacefully, with four aspirants stepping down in support of Amos Gwamna Magaji.
Returning Officer for the election, Edward Pama, declared Magaji winner after polling one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six votes.
Speaking after the declaration, Amos Gwamna appreciated the aspirants and party members for their support, pledging to work for the unity and success of the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He also promised to facilitate more democratic dividends and development projects to the constituency if re-elected.
In other results announced, Daniel Amos secured the APC ticket for Jema’a and Sanga Federal Constituency with two thousand one hundred and ten votes.
Gabriel Saleh won the Kachia and Kagarko Constituency with two thousand five hundred and ninety votes, while Professor Benjamin Gugong defeated incumbent Matthew Donatus in Kaura Federal Constituency with one thousand and eighty-five votes against two hundred and fifty-five.
Muktar Chawai also emerged unopposed in Kauru Federal Constituency with one thousand seven hundred and fifty votes.
