The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the results of its House of Representatives’ primary elections in Nasarawa State.
Chairman of the election committee, Musa Guri, announced the results in Lafia, describing the exercise as free, fair, and credible across the 13 local government areas of the state.
According to him, the committee conducted the exercise in line with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Electoral Act, and the party’s guidelines.
Among the winners announced are Daniel Ogazi for Kokona/Keffi/Karu Federal Constituency, Tony Bala Shammah for Wamba/Akwanga/Nasarawa Eggon Federal Constituency, where he defeated incumbent Jeremiah Umaru, and Mohammed Almakura who won for Lafia/Obi Federal Constituency.
Also announced was Mohammed Albashir, who won the Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency ticket after defeating incumbent Mohammad Ari.
Guri added that results for the Doma/Awe/Keana Federal Constituency were still being collated and called on all aspirants to work together for the progress of the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
