The Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State for the 2027 general election, Michael Kaase Aondoakaa, SAN, has picked 38 year old Doctor Oyije Ochaekiti Ogbenjuwa as his running mate.
Aondoakaa made this known in Makurdi the State capital during the party’s congress.
He said if entrusted with the mandate of the people in 2027 his administration shall focus on;
immediately halting the attacks and bloodshed in communities and enforcing the protection of lives and property across Benue communities in a sustainable manner.
He also pledged to revitalize agriculture and rural development within the context of Benue State being the “Food Basket of the Nation;”
Also on his agenda is the empowerment of youths and women through employment and enterprise.
The standard bearer of the PDP also promised to improve infrastructure, healthcare, and education; promoting industrial growth and economic opportunities.
Aondokaa said he will ensure justice, transparency, and accountable governance.
He equally spoke of reuniting and reconciling the people beyond political, ethnic, or sectional divides.
