The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ola Olukoyede has called on Nigerians to renew their commitment to the ideals of transparency and anti-corruption as Muslims across the country celebrate Sallah.
Olukoyede made the call in Abuja in his Sallah message to Nigerians.
According to him, the Sallah celebration presents another opportunity to share the light, love and blessings of Almighty Allah with the world.
The EFCC Chairman stressed that while celebrating and sharing the joys of the season, Nigerians should also refresh and strengthen their commitment to honesty, accountability and integrity as essential virtues for national development.
He noted that every religion promotes uprightness and accountable conduct, adding that the Sallah festival should inspire such values in all citizens.
