Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving education, healthcare and child protection across the state.
Speaking at the 2026 National Children’s Day celebration in Akure, Governor Aiyedatiwa described children as vital to the future of the nation and stressed the need to provide equal opportunities for every child to realise their potential.
Represented by his deputy, Olayide Adelami, the Governor assured residents that the government would continue to strengthen security around schools and provide a safer and more conducive learning environment for children across the state.
He urged children to remain disciplined, focused and committed to their studies, while also calling on parents, teachers and other stakeholders to support efforts aimed at building a safer, healthier and more inclusive society.
The Governor further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to policies and programmes aimed at improving child welfare, access to quality education and overall development in Ondo State.
