Muslim faithful in Kaduna State joined millions of worshippers across the world to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, with renewed calls on residents to promote peace, unity and security across the state.

The Eid prayer ground in Kaduna recorded a large turnout of worshippers who gathered to observe the Eid-el-Kabir prayers in an atmosphere of devotion, reflection and celebration.
The festival, which commemorates sacrifice, faith and obedience, also provided religious and political leaders the opportunity to advocate peaceful coexistence and greater unity among residents.
Leading the state government delegation, Deputy Governor Hadiza Balarabe urged citizens to apply the lessons of sacrifice, tolerance and compassion learnt during the Sallah period toward sustaining peace and stability across Kaduna State.
Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Yusuf Liman, and former Senator Shehu Sani also appealed to residents to embrace mutual understanding and tolerance, stressing that peaceful coexistence remains critical to development and social harmony.
Religious leaders further encouraged Nigerians to continue praying for peace, improved security and economic recovery as families and communities celebrate the festive season.
