Four Students of the Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa state kidnapped on Thursday, January 13 have been released by their abductors.
The students who were kidnapped outside the University premises were released early Saturday, January 15, 2022.

The Spokesperson of the institution, Abubakar Ibrahim confirmed the release in a statement made available to journalists on Sunday.
According to the statement, the students upon their release were said to have undergone medical checks and they were all found to be in good condition.
The statement quoted the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman as assuring parents, students and the general public of his administration’s commitment to make lives and property safe in and around the campuses of the University.
He also called on the students to remain calm and go about their normal activities on both campuses of the University.
