Governor Hope Uzodimma has approved the immediate suspension of the Managing Director of the Imo State Housing Corporation, IMSHC, Raymond Ucheoma.
The suspension, which takes effect from June 2, 2026, was conveyed to the MD in a letter issued by the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
According to the directive, the suspended Managing Director is required to hand over all government property and official responsibilities in his possession to the Secretary of the Corporation or the most senior officer of the Imo State Housing Corporation before the close of work on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
Ucheoma who is a legal practitioner and immediate past Head of Service of Imo State, was appointed Managing Director of the Imo State Housing Corporation in May 2025. His appointment was approved by Governor Uzodimma and communicated through the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
