The Ibom Deep Sea Port Project has recorded a major boost as Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, leads high-level technical session with project partners in Paris, France.
The meeting with Africa Global Logistics reviewed the Technical Feasibility Report prepared by Worley and examined key investment and implementation pathways for the proposed deep seaport.
Governor Eno called for accelerated project delivery, urging stakeholders to establish clear timelines, milestones, and actionable steps to move the project from planning to execution.

Participants reaffirmed their commitment to the Deep Sea Port initiative, a strategic blue economy project expected to position Akwa Ibom State as a major maritime, trade, and logistics hub in the Gulf of Guinea.
The Governor was accompanied by members of the state delegation, including former NIMASA Director-General, Mfon Usoro, and other key government officials.
