Advocates of the’Nigeria First’ project have urged citizens to always place the nation above other considerations for sustained national development.
At a forum in Abuja to review their recent summit in Lagos, the group of accredited civil society organisations and community-based organisations noted that National Unity and Cohesion, Support for Security Architecture, Climate Change and Climate Action among others, are imperative to restoring Nigeria to its glory days.
The leaders who discussed National Unity, Food Security, and National Development appealed to citizens to portray the image of the nation in good light, especially now that the country is experiencing severe economic and security challenges.
They called on the federal government, the private sector, development partners, donor agencies, the media and all citizens to collaborate for the collective interest of national development.
