President Bassirou Faye of Senegal has emerged as thenew Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS replacing Sierra Leone’s Julius Bio.
Meanwhile, the position of the Commission President will now be held by
Biram Diop, who replaces Dr. Omar Toure.
