Osun State Governor and candidate of the Accord Party, Ademola Adeleke, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his role in ensuring a peaceful and credible governorship election in the state.
Speaking after being declared winner of Saturday’s election in Ede,Osun state, Governor Adeleke said his vision is to transform Osun State from a civil service-dependent state into an industrial hub, with development spread across the state.
He described the election as a victory for democracy, saying there should be no victor or vanquished.
Adeleke also called on other contestants to accept the outcome of the election and congratulated the people of Osun State for their peaceful conduct.
The governor expressed appreciation to President Tinubu, who he said had personally called to congratulate him.
Governor Adeleke says his administration remains committed to building an industrialised Osun State where development reaches every part of the state.
