According to the Governor, this was in fulfilment of the provision of Section 31 (1) of the Local Government Law 2018 and the Nasarawa State Legal Notice Nos 5, 2018, following the sudden demise of the former chairman, Emmanuel Joseph Leweh, who died on Thursday, January 13, 2020 at a private hospital in Abuja.
