The Elders Forum of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has frowned at the litigation instituted by the Ondo State Commissioner for Finance, Omowummi Isaac, against some leaders of the party in the state, calling for an urgent intervention to resolve the crisis rocking the party.
The Southwest Coordinator of the APC Elders Forum, Daniel Adebiyi, made the call while addressing journalists in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
Daniel Adebiyi urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to provide the firm leadership, political direction, and moral authority needed to restore unity, discipline, and stability within the APC in Ondo State.
The forum, comprising APC members aged 55 years and above, said the President should deploy his experience and statesmanship to prevent further division within the party.
The elders particularly expressed concern over the litigation filed by the Commissioner for Finance, Omowummi Isaac, against some APC leaders in the Owo Local Government Area.
