A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Abba Ali, has urged both the Federal Government and security agencies to stop disclosing their warfare strategies against terrorists in the Media if the war must be won.

Ali who gave the advise on the sideline of a dinner organised in his honour after his turbaning ceremony as the Turakin Katsina also revealed that, the Insecurity bedevilling the nation is politically motivated rather than the religious colorations given to it.

Senator Abba Ali said, with the current measures being taken by the Federal Government and security agencies, the issue of Insecurity will soon be a thing of the past even though it is politically motivated as against opinions of many attributing it to religion.

He added that, troops fighting the war should be motivated just as the Federal Government is equipping the military with sophisticated weapons.

The Turakin Katsina who also added that, those perpetrating the evil of insurgency are well known and are living within Nigerians advised the Government to desist from revealing their strategies against the terrorists in the media due to the high presence of informants.

Ahead of the February 26 National convention of the APC, the chieftain maintained that, supremacy of the party and electing credible officials will ensure victory in the 2023 general elections as, he called on Nigerians to vote in credible candidates that will lead the nation to greater heights.

Ali who is now a member of the traditional council with his new title as the Turakin Katsina pledged to work with other traditional rulers to effectively advise and cooperate with both the Government and security agencies to not only fish out the bad eggs but, to assist in winning the war against terrorism in the country.
