The All Progressives Congress, APC, Elders Council in Ondo State says the time has come to unite all aggrieved factions within the party and ensure that it operates as one indivisible political family.
The APC Elders, drawn from the eighteen local government areas of Ondo State, warned against attempts to factionalise the party, saying such moves must not be allowed to distract members from achieving its political objectives.
The meeting, presided over by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, resolved that the success of the party’s electoral prospects is dependent on the collective support of its elders, women, youths and other members.
The Elders Council said those attempting to create another faction of the council remain members of the APC and should be brought back into the fold.
The Council urged members to cooperate with the state chairman and activate all structures of the party across the state.
