Nigeria’s National Single Window Project, after processing payments worth N12.59 billion in five months, is now moving into its second phase, with a focus on strengthening the country’s export capacity, readiness and competitiveness.
The expansion is aimed at creating a more integrated, transparent and traceable system for managing Nigeria’s trade processes.
Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service, NRS, Zacch Adedeji, at a stakeholders’ engagement on the export component of the National Single Window project in Abuja directed all stakeholders involved in the second phase of the National Single Window to coordinate their activities, establish clear timelines and meet agreed milestones ahead of the November 2026 take-off.
Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole, urged Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs to comply with the National Single Window’s single-entry-point principle, accelerate deliverables and ensure their readiness for system integration, user acceptance and pilot testing.
The National Single Window Platform is designed as a single-entry point for traders, clearing agents and other stakeholders to submit information and documents required for import, export and transit-related regulatory processes.
