Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, and APC stakeholders have pledged to work for the victory of the party’s candidates in the 2027 general elections. This covers candidates from President Bola Tinubu to the governorship, National Assembly and State House of Assembly seats.
The resolution was reached during an APC stakeholders’ meeting held in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital.
The Governor urged APC members to support all the party’s candidates and not just vote for the President alone. He also appealed to aggrieved members to return to the party and work together.
A former APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, urged party members to set aside personal grievances and focus on delivering victory in 2027.
Some APC members thanked Senator Adamu and Governor Sule for their leadership, apologised for any offences arising from the party primaries and pledged to justify the confidence reposed in them.
The meeting ended with a commitment by stakeholders to remain united and deliver Nasarawa State for the APC in 2027.
