A six year old Haneem Hussaini Bello has been reported missing.
The FCT Police Command is calling on anyone with useful information that could help reunite the child with his family.
In a statement signed by the police public relations Officer Josephine Adeh, Haneem Hussaini Bello is six (6) years old who told the police that he came to Abuja from Bauchi State with his mother and siblings for the summer break.
The statement quotes the boy as saying that they had gone to the Central Mosque for Juma’a prayer when he suddenly became separated from his mother and siblings and could no longer locate them.
The child was subsequently found wandering around NNPC Towers Central Business District at about 3:00PM on 4th September, 2026, while crying.
At the time he was found, he was wearing carton-coloured trousers and a brown shirt with black and white stripes on the left side.
He is presently in Police custody while efforts are ongoing to locate and reunite him with his family.
Members of the public with useful information that may assist in identifying or locating the child’s parents or relatives are kindly requested to report to the nearest Police Station or call the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer on 07038979348.
