The collapse of a Ponzi scheme in Kabba, Kogi State, operated by an organisation identified as PXES, has left more than 500 victims distressed and struggling to cope with the financial
losses
For victims of PXES in Kabba and surrounding communities, the financial losses have brought uncertainty, frustration and, in some cases, severe emotional distress.
Kogi State Security Adviser Jerry Omodara cautioned residents against falling victim to get-rich-quick schemes, urging them to be wary of fraudulent investment platforms and schemes promising unrealistic returns.
The emotional toll has been significant, with some affected residents reportedly seeking medical attention, while others struggle to come to terms with the loss of their savings.
