Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of former Director-General of the State Security Service, SSS, Albert Korubo Horsfall.
Governor Fubara described the late security chief as a distinguished Rivers son, patriot and elder statesman who served Nigeria with dedication, professionalism and integrity.
He said Horsfall’s contributions to national security and stability remain a benchmark, while his role as a mentor and bridge-builder earned him respect beyond the security community.
The governor, on behalf of the Rivers State Government and people, condoled with the immediate family, the Horsfall family of Buguma and all Nigerians mourning the loss.
He prayed that Almighty God grant Chief Horsfall eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Governor Fubara said the late elder statesman’s legacy of service and patriotism would continue to inspire generations.
