French President, Emmanuel Macron has received President Bola Tinubu for a private dinner at the Élysée Palace in Paris.
The meeting, which took place on Thursday night, reflects the longstanding relationship between Nigeria and France and the commitment of both countries to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
The development was disclosed on Friday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a post on his official X handle.

Onanuga also shared photographs from the private dinner, showing President Tinubu and President Macron together at the Élysée Palace.
The engagement further highlights the continued high-level diplomatic interaction between Nigeria and France, with both countries maintaining cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
President Tinubu is currently in France as part of his annual leave in Europe.
