Nigerian Government says it has deployed over 10,000 Nigerians in various professional fields for technical assistance and development of 40 countries.
The Federal Government also disclosed that Nigerian Professionals were earlier sent to countries in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacifics where they contributed in Education, Engineering, Medicine, Law Agriculture, Science, Technology and several other fields.
Director General of Nigerian Technical Aid Corps, Yusuf Buba-Yakub who made this known at a briefing also discloses that the governments of the host countries keep asking for more Nigerian Professionals and commending their impacts in the growth and development of all sectors of their nations.

Buba-Yakub says aside from Nigeria’s assistance to the various countries, it is also an avenue for it to continue to strengthen its soft power diplomacy and deepen its South- South Cooperation as the big-brother nation.
Nigerian Government also says its operations also show with dignity to the world that Nigeria possesses enormous reservoir of professionals and technical talents in all fields.
