The Nyesom Wike-backed leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has visited the families of three prominent party members who died recently.
They are former PDP National Chairman Bamanga Tukur, former Kogi State Governor Ibrahim Idris and the party’s National Vice Chairman, South-South, Dan Orbih.
The PDP delegation, led by National Chairman Abdulrahman Mohammed, visited the families in Abuja to commiserate with them over their losses.
The party leadership described the late members as pillars of the PDP whose contributions helped shape the party over the years.
The PDP further paid tribute to the three men and assured their families that the party stands with them and will continue to honour their memories.
Wives and children of the deceased thanked the party leadership for the condolence visits and prayed for comfort for their families.
