The federal government has been urged by key stakeholders to prioritize risk management as the core foundation for building economic resilience and attracting sustainable investments.
The call was made at a leadership and risk management event organised in Abuja to ensure that risk management principles are integrated into every sector of the economy to drive national growth.
Speaking at the event, the president of the Risk managers society of Nigeria, Abbas idriss noted that while there have been significant improvements in the industry, many critical sectors of the economy still lacked robust risk application frameworks, a gap the society was determined to bridge.

Other speakers called for stronger collaborations and investments in Risks intelligence sharing, data, and early warning systems.
The highlight of the event was the inauguration of the Abuja Chapter Executive Council of The Risk Management Society of Nigeria.
