A group of civil society organisations has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, seeking the reopening of an earlier investigation involving former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
The group made the demand during a protest at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja, where they submitted a formal petition to the anti-graft agency.
They urged the Commission to review the findings and circumstances surrounding its investigation of the former Vice President conducted about two decades ago.
The latest demand comes after a similar call by former House of Representatives member Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma, who had asked the EFCC to revive the case involving Atiku.
