The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Imo State, has dismissed allegations of attacks linked to its activities, describing such allegations as an attempt to discredit and sabotage the party.
The party state chapter said this during a consultative meeting in Owerri involving its senatorial candidate for Owerri Zone, other candidates, and traditional rulers from the zone.
Stakeholders at the meeting said efforts are ongoing to promote a peaceful and coordinated approach to the forthcoming elections and ensure the right candidates occupy the seat.
It also urged APC supporters to remain calm, united, and committed to the programmes of the party as political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
