The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, says it has commenced full implementation of its electronic memo, e memo, portal to eliminate human errors, missing files and unnecessary administrative bottlenecks.
NDDC Managing Director, Samuel Ogbuku, speaking during an onboarding exercise at the commission’s headquarters in Port Harcourt, described the digitisation of its operations as part of a transition from “transaction to transformation.”
He said the initiative is designed to ensure that critical documents and administrative processes move through the system in record time, while improving efficiency within the commission.
The NDDC Director of Information Technology and Innovation, Emeka Ani, says the commission’s digital transformation initiative is aligned with its approved Standard Operating Procedures, SOPs, and is designed to improve efficiency and accountability through automation.
Ani said the digital transformation initiative has been extended to all directorates and departments of the NDDC.
