The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has challenged former Rivers State Governor and ADC vice-presidential candidate, Rotimi Amaechi, to account for the proceeds from the sale of the Rivers State-owned turbines during his administration.
Wike made the call this Sunday , while speaking at a town hall meeting with stakeholders and political leaders in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The minister alleged that the 2012 turbine sale generated hundreds of millions of dollars and challenged the media to demand accountability from the former governor over the transaction.
