President Bola Tinubu is returning to Abuja this evening after a six-day visit to Lagos, the former seat of government.
The President arrived in Lagos on September 29 after spending his annual vacation in London and Paris.
While in Lagos, President Tinubu addressed Nigerians on October 1 to mark the country’s 66th Independence Anniversary and attended the national premiere of MKO, a documentary on the life and political struggle of the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola.
According to a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu also visited the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, at his palace on Lagos Island on Sunday.
The President is expected to depart Lagos for Abuja this evening.
