President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Abuja, the nation’s capital after a six-day stay in Lagos State, where he marked Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary and attended the premiere of a documentary on the life of the presumed winner of the June 12, 1993 Presidential election, late Moshood Abiola.
The President was received at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Airport Abuja by the National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, alongside other senior government officials.
Tinubu had departed Abuja on August 30 for his annual vacation in London and Paris. On return to Nigeria, he landed in Lagos on September 28.
During his stay in Lagos, the President also visited the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, at his palace on Lagos Island.
President Tinubu is expected to resume official engagements after the three-day period of national mourning for 32 victims of the Nigerian Air Force, NAF jet crash in Ondo State.
