Terrorists operating in the forest area of Jibiya Local Government Area of Katsina State, North-West Nigeria have launched fresh attack on Bugaje village, killing one and injuring 2 others.
A local who took to a Whatsapp platform with news of the attack said, it occurred between 6pm and 7.30 pm on Saturday.
According to the source, the two injured persons are currently receiving treatment at a health facility within Katsina metropolis.
Jibiya which is a neighbouring area to Niger Republic is among the 13 frontline Local Government Areas, bedevilled by the activities of terrorists engaged mainly in abductions, cattle rustling and rape.
